The origins of Lodox can be traced to South Africa’s mining industry, where groundbreaking X-ray technology was developed to detect stolen diamonds. Recognising the potential of this technology beyond the security sector, a team of visionary engineers adapted the platform into a revolutionary medical imaging solution capable of producing rapid, full-body digital X-ray images with exceptionally low radiation exposure.

This innovation marked a significant milestone in medical imaging. By combining ultra-low radiation dose with fast image acquisition and comprehensive whole-body imaging, Lodox introduced a solution that continues to support healthcare professionals in making timely, informed clinical decisions.
